issues with TI RTOS

CCS version: 6.1.3.00033

I need help on the following issues:

Download via the app center TI RTOS for CC13xx and MSP430. After restarting CCS tool, neither was automatically found and had to be manually added under package config.

Then, when I try to import any project examples into CCS, I get a error:

Error: Device is either 'null' or is currently not recognized by CCS. Go to 'Help > Check for Updates' page to check for updates and visit CCS App Center to get the latest device support.

I have the latest CCs version and TI RTOS cc13xx 2_16_01_14.

Hi Joe,

Just re-installed through the app center and didn't come across the error on my end. Are you sure you have device support installed in CCS for those devices?

Here's a screen shot what is installed for the CC13xx. Should I have more than this? If so, why didn't the support files get installed with the app tool?

Hi Joe,

The support tools are not downloaded with TI-RTOS but rather with CCS. When installing CCS you're given a set of devices to which you want to build for. At this point is when the support file get installed, I would suggest re-installing CCS and selecting the device support you require so it can install the necessary packages.

Here's the selection in the CCS setup which are already installed. Is there something missing here? I don't see the CC13xx support listed.

That's interesting, it should have downloaded with the "Simplelink Wireless MCUs" checked. I would suggest following the steps in this tutorial:

But if that still doesn't work, I would just install the latest CCS and try again.
