I was planning to use TMS320C6748 DSP in one of the applications meant for Railways. I am stuck with no of SPI ports. One SPI port is multiplexed with built-in Ethernet MAC port. To free the SPI port I have to kill the Built-in Ethernet port. I can afford losing an MAC port, which I can interface an External Ethernet Controller over parallel bus. I have a doubt whether the selected DSP suporrts for Memory mapped IO interface.
Could any one please suggest me whether Memory mapped IO interface can be used in TMS320C6748 DSP. If they have used share the snippet of the schematics.
