Hi all,

It’s my first post in e2e, and I hope that I will find an answer for my problem.

I’m trying to program my standalone system using TMS320C6424 evaluation kit, and I need to burn the NAND flash, I’m using Flashburn 4 DSK tool from SoftwareDesignSolutions the problem that when I use it for writing to NOR Flash it works properly, but when it comes to the NAND (by changing the jumper JP2 to the NAND) an erasing timeout occurs, even if I canceled the erasing process and started writing to the NAND; an error occurs (targetserver exception). Beside, erasing timeout occurs also with two other jumper options (SDRAM, Daughter card DC)

So; what did I miss?

Is there any alternative tool can I use for NAND programing?

Also please make sure that you have set boot mode to Emulation while connecting target via Flash burn tool.

Hi Shankari,
I've referred all these related posts, also, I’ve followed the wiki page -using Flashburn 4 DSK-and everything was good as long as I’m using NOR flash,
the flashburn tool still hangs up at the erasing process with Emulation boot mode, not only for NAND but also for the rest of jumper (JP2) options other than the NOR Flash !!!
