AM335 SDK install.bin is not working

Hi all:

I have downloaded the SDK2.0.

http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sw/esd/PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM335X/02_00_01_07/index_FDS.html

The èti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-02.00.01.07-Linux-x86-Install.bin

It only works on x86-64 ubuntu, but it cannot work with i686 ubuntu.

ps. My ubuntu is working for the SDK1.0 and it can run everything fine.

So, how to solve this?

==> bash: ./ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-02.00.02.11-Linux-x86-Install.bin: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

my ubuntu is:

root@ubuntu:~/Desktop/SDK2.0_Stuffs# uname -m
i686

Rio,

Your error is one you would see if attempted to run a 64-bit binary on a 32-bit os.

Hello Rio!

Processor SDK Installer is 64-bit, and installs only on 64-bit host machine. Support for 32-bit host is dropped as Linaro toolchain is available only for
64-bit machines.

Michael is right.
You are running on the 32 bit OS. The processor SDK is built for 64 bit OS.
