Davinci DM8148 processor hanging issue

Hi,

     We are using davinci dm8148 processor for a project,the project developed in application level. Now we are facing hanging issue randomly whenever we run the application. Can someone guide us where we need to look into,since we are studied on power supply section,main interface(ethernet) which is part of the application. Now we are planning to dig into external memory, is this good idea??

And also please explain me why do higher end processors like davinci processor gets hang??

Small hints can also help us a lot.
