[AM335x]Lirc on Processor linux SDK to receive IrDA data

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

Dear Champ,

I'm looking for the solution and guide how Lirc can be ported on Processor Linux SDK 2.0 of AM3352, and want to know what is different with below BBB SW what I found or it is OK to follow below same procedure in Processor Linux SDK 2.0 also.

Thanks and Best Regards,

SI.

  • Hi,

I think the steps in the above link are for the BBB debian kernel, which is differs from the TISDK.
However, you can download the kernel & apply the patches and add the corresponding dts & driver configurations in am335x-boneblack.dts and uart/irda driver.

    Best Regards,
    Yordan
