Difference between X5777AXGABC & X5777ATXGABC.

Hi,

We are using X5777AXGABC processor for our Project , Because of voltage short we have replaced the processor with latest version of X5777ATXGABC. But with the replacement we are facing different problems. Interfaces proved on X5777AXGABC are now not working on new processor i.e. X5777ATXGABC.

- We did not get any specified data sheet for the newly replaced processor(X5777ATXGABC).

- Is there any major difference's that are to be checked before proceeding further.

There are no such processors in the Sitara family.

These devices were initial samples from Automotive Processors team. If you are designing products that are not automotive, please check our AM5726/8 and AM5716/8 devices that are our part numbers for broad market.

Hi Rogerio,

Thanks for the reply. we are using AM5726/8. We used X5777AXGABC but after voltage short we received X5777ATXGABC assembled on our board because of which, we are facing different problems.

With X5777AXGABC we have programmed spidev interfaced with FPGA to work on 4Mhz but the same is not working with X5777ATXGABC.

We have different problems like above. Can you please help us to know what are the major differences that reflect with the change of part numbers.

M.Mahesh, these parts numbers are PG1.1 and the main difference between the first and the second is the temp they were tested....Everything else should be the same....if you are testing in room temp, both should work the same way.

Hi Rogerio,

Thanks, Is the operating temperature same for both? We have a test that should be conducted from -20 to +70. Does the behavior vary. Can you please give any data Sheet for the same.
