i'm trying to run the example _utils programm on the ICE_v2 board. The Programm is compiling without problems or warnings. But when i start the program in debug mode it never returns from the Board_pinMuxConfig() function.

Recently one of our interns reported the same issue with that example. The resolution for that issue is presented here:
In the project setting in the Configuration: am437x_debug [Active], under the Main Tab make sure, that the compiler version is correct and remove the linker command file evmAM437x.lds that gets autopopulated
Also make sure your, RTSC Tab shows the following target settings.
I am assuming that you are using the SYSBIOS and XDC tools configuration as specified in the release notes. Hope this helps.
