DM8148 video encode has purple line

Dear Experts,

We have problem on DM8148 video encode.

Signal path:
Camcorder SDI -> Platform (DM8148) -> MP4 or Streaming.

Platform input is 1920x1080 59.94i SDI signal.
If we set output size to 640x368 progressive,
picture of VLC player or SMPlayer has purple line on lower side.
Plz check below figure.

If we set output size to 640x360, it has no problem.
But our customer request us to provide 640x368 size output.

Is there any limitation on SCLR or encoder to cause this situation?
Can we resolve it or it is limitation?

Hello,

If you are using EZSDK:
-If you have a Noise filter in the pipeline, there is a limitation width/pitch/height should be multiple of 32 pixels.
-The limitation of SC5 is pitch of input and output buffer should be multiple of 16.

Dear Margarita,

We are using DVRRDK.
Will DVRRDK have same limitation with EZSDK?

We have noise filter and SC5 in our pipeline.
But we are confused about the limitation on Noise filter and SC5.

Currently, we have 1920x540, 1280x720, 640x360, and 480x270, ... output format.

480x270 also does not meet "output buffer should be multiple of 16",
but 480x270 output don't have purple line and output is correct.

640x360 does not meet "limitation width/pitch/height should be multiple of 32 pixels",
but 640x360 output don't have purple line and output is correct.

1920x1080 (1920x540) also does not meet "limitation width/pitch/height should be multiple of 32 pixels", right?
But this seems strange...
Because 1920x540, 1280x720, 640x360, and 480x270 output video are all correct.

Why...

Dear Margarita,

By the way, we use Nsf to conver video from 422 to 420.

Thus, we are using bypass mode.

It should not have size limitation on NSF, right?

All issue (limitation) will be only related to SC5?

These limitations are in EZSDK.
I am not aware with DVRRDK.
For DVRRDK you could check here:

or you could search in the e2e for similar issue.
