DM8148 ezsdk audio encoding audio buffer overrun

Do you observe the same issue on EVM or it is only on your custom board?
Do you using the OMX audio encode demo?

Hi,

I have not tested on the evm. Yes I do use OMX audio encode.
Looking through some of the posts it seems like increasing the buffer size fixes it. But I cant find a way how to do it.

You could check ilclient.c for INPUT_BUF_SIZE.

I have had a look at it,
#define INPUT_BUF_SIZE 1024

Its assigned to int gEOF = 0, gbytesInInputBuffer = INPUT_BUF_SIZE;

But gbytesInInputBuffer is no where used.

Could you check the CPU load?
If it is high you could increase the app priority (use nice command).

Do you have the overlay package ?
If yes, check omx_aenc_priv.h and omx_aacae_internal.h file.
Keep in mind if you make changes in this files you should rebuild firmware (dsp)
