LED TMS320C6713 DSK

I would like to use a test probe connected to Oscilloscope on LED to check its blinking time. But I couldn't find out any technical/data sheet specially based on LED(s). And I am not sure which pin (for LED) should I test on. (to avoid short circuit on DSK)

Hi J3ohn,

You have to refer the schematics of th DSK EVM which will have the pin details of the LEDs.

You can probe any one of the LED points i.e ANODE or KATHODE
You can also probe the RESISTORS which are connected to those LEDs, R78,R79,R80,R80 and R81 (D6,D7 respectively)
That LEDs were connected to CPLD.

Firstly, thank you. I found the catalog.

my idea was actually to check real time taken in my interrupt loop. I initialize the LED, and turn on LED at the beginning of interrupt, and turn it off at the end of the interrupt. But it seems there is no change in scope.

Do you any other suggestion ??

You have to check the probe, whether your CRO is capable of capturing that events ??
You have to set the "Single Seq" mode to capture the events, it will capture the rise/fall events on the probe point.
Also please make sure that you are using good CRO and probes with good condition.

If you really want to know the speed or timing thing for the interrupt, you can use CLOCK settings using CCS, it will tell me how many clocks took for running the whole ISR code.
