AM437x cannot read data from OCMCRAM

Hi,

My QSPI Write function tries to access a data from the OCMCRAM through a pointer but fails on trying so.

I have checked writing a value to the QSPI it works fine so the QSPI part is good.

I have attached the debug images

It crashes at the address 0x40300830 executing ldr r2,[r3]

Hi,

Check section 7.3.1.5 "CTRL_MPU_L2 Register" and 6.13.6.4 "PRCM_CM_PER_OCMCRAM_CLKCTRL Register" from the AM437x TRM Rev. D.

Hi,

The values for my

CTRL_MPU_L2 = 0x00000000 -> L2 is selected for Cache Operation
PRCM_CM_PER_OCMCRAM_CLKCTRL = 0x00000002 -> Module is fully functional & module is explicitly enables

When the address of a unsigned char array is passed this error is faced. If I change it to a unsigned long array the data is written without problem. In both the cases the values of the registers remain the same.

This sounds like an alignment problem. Have you tried with CTRL_MPU_L2 = 0x00010000 ?
