Hello, quick question for anyone. Would the TMS320C6678 be a good device for Video Compression? If not, how about the Sitara processor?

Yes. You can use C6678 for Video compression. Please refer the MCSDK-Video package and it's UG for further details.

Hi Joe, adding to Raja's reply, you can also get individual codecs from (MCSDK video bundle all)
