AM3352 problem booting from certain SD cards

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

I am using the AM3352 in a custom board. the application is non OS and was written in C.

We are using commercially available micro SD cards to boot the application. The ones that work, always work the ones that don't never work. This applies even to the same part from the same manufacturer with lots purchased at different times. Does anyone have any idea why the boot sequence would be sensitive to variations of the same SD card?

Thanks

  • I'm afraid we cannot help on custom software. The Linux SDK has been tested over time with many SD cards from different manufacturers and in different sizes. I can only suggest that you compare your bootloader either against the Linux MLO or against the Starterware bootloader.
