AM572x EVM not booting from SD card

HI,

My AM572x evm board is not booting anymore, the power led is on and the on led is also on for the normal 7 seconds. I tried the sd card on another am572x board and it boots, which make me think the problem would be with the sd card booting. the jumpers are set to sd/mmc booting. When I press the power button, I get 0xf0 on the debug uart, then after 7 seconds i get 0xfe 0x00.

I tried to create another sdcard, but still no luck.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Just to check that the board is functioning, can you set the jumpers for uart boot, and see if you will get the ASIC ID (looks like garbage characters) on your console after you power it up?

Hi Yardan,

I tried the UART booting jumper settings, the board still just sends out 0xf0, no ASIC ID.

Hi,

I think, maybe your board is damaged somehow. Is it possible to measure voltages of the PMIC, check if sysboot connections are correct, etc..
