Can I operate a McBSP in two modes? I'd like to have the transmit side in TDM mode but have the receive side is SPI mode - ie be a SPI slave and get written to only.
Cheers

Calum,
When the McBSP is configured in clock stop mode, the transmitter and receiver are internally synchronized, so that the McBSP functions as an SPI master or slave device. It is not allowed to run TX side in TDM mode and at the same time run RX side in SPI mode. Best Regards, Peter Chung
Thanks Peter.
So if one side is TDM mode the other has to be TDM mode. However both can run at different clock rates and rame rates? Do they both have to be the same number of timeslots?
