Hello Brandon,

Please refer the section "Thermal Considerations" in the wiki where you can find a thermal application note (SPRAAL9). This application note would help you to calculate the junction temperature.

I have seen this app note. Which formula is specifically used by the spreadsheet? I would like to get that confirmation.

I am going to assume the following:

Tjunction = Tcase + (Power * PSIjt)
Tjunction = Tambient + (Power * Thetaja)

Yes that is correct.
I have tried to add a little more specificity to that section , but essentially it makes use of the equations/procedure on Section 5.3
