Query about use of C6713 DSK in applications related to image processing

Actually Mukul i am an intern in TI itself, i am working on a project which is based on "image encryption using fractional fourier transform". i just want to know that what processors or microcontrollers will be useful for my project.

    Gauri,

    Although this question is probably better answered in the C67 processor forums, I give below some inputs that could help your project.

    - The C6713 can be used for image processing applications, however its suitability to a specific application is heavily dependent on the image characteristics (size, color depth, etc.) and the type of processing required (real-time or post-processing). Its speed should be fine to process static images or low-resolution video (CIF, VGA), however don't expect it to handle HD video streams.

    - Differently than the DM counterparts, both the C6713 and its DSK do not have video ports, therefore any image capture device would require external hardware;

    - The C6713DSK can be used with CCSv4.1 without problems. Just follow the instructions to configure the target at the page below:
