I was going through the hands-on examples from TI for PRU. I got through lab 1-4 successfully using Ubuntu on beaglebone black with kernel 4.4.9-ti-rt-r26.
However, with the lab 5 rpmsg_pru is not automatically loaded and when I load it, it does not create a device in the /dev/. I read that there has been changes in the rpmsg mechanism but the work around has been pushed. Unfortunately, it is not stated in the examples. The examples in my recent clone of the package still does not work.
