TMS320C674x/OMAP-L1x Processor General-Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) (SPRUFL8A) does not mention GP8 or any registers related to it. However, the datasheet and TRM do reference GP8. Where is the direction register for GP8 documented?

Inderjit,
The manual is intended to be open-ended in its register definitions. The number of supported GPIO pins varies from device-to-device, but the base GPIO module is often the same with the registers and field definitions enumerated in a well-defined pattern. There are notes in the manual that indicate that the user can assume the pattern continues if more pins are supported and that registers/fields are reserved for devices with fewer pins. For the sake of documenting the superset pincount for the OMAPL1x/C674x family, the userguide is being updated with GPIO8 register and field information. It should be on the external web in a day or two.
