Using a library (namely ros-jade) that is not provided in the Processor SDK Linux Software Stack on AM572x

Hello,

I am using an AM572x evaluation module in a project where I would benefit from a Linux package that is not provided in the base software stack. I am clueless about how to get up and running with it. I have a host computer ready and I can cross-compile a Hello World. My feeling right now is that I have to fiddle with Yocto/OpenEmbedded to compile a new Linux image that will contain the Linux packages I want to use. Is this right ?

Thank you very much,

Louis-Charles
