BIOS5 task hook dynamic control

Hi,Champs,

We know that there is task hook in BIOS5. My customer want to know whether the task hook can be modified dynamically? That means they want to control to enable and disable task hook by software at runtime.

Does anyone have idea about this? Thank in advance.

Hook functions can only be declared statically (in a configuration script) so that they may be efficiently invoked when provided and result in no runtime overhead when a hook function is not provided.

Maybe this can be controlled by hook a function statically. And then in this hook function, we can use a global variable to control to run some codes or not. This will introduce some penality, but if there are some debug purpose codes in hook function, maybe this can help in some conditions.
