How to compile the VideoCapture source code in WinCE BSP 6.14.00???

Hi All,

We are currently evaluating the video capture feature on EVM board, but I can't compile the correct VideoCapture.exe file using BSP 6.14.00. The readme file said that I need to copy over the files to PRIVATE tree and compile it there, I just follow the instruction, but it turns out missing some libs.

Someone who can give me some advise or building steps will be appreciated.

Hi,

Use the instructions in the attached readme.txt file. The readme.txt in the BSP 6.14.00 release is the incorrect version. But do note that there is a dependency on building the video capture source code in the MS shared source tree as is before you can proceed and if that step fails (as specified in the readme.txt file) you will have to post to MSDN forum and get that resolved first.

Please also make sure to turn VRFB off in the ti_evm_3530.bat file ("set BSP_NOVRFB=1" and make a clean BSP build) when trying the Video capture application. The capture/preview that is part of Video Capture application does not handle the large stride needed for VRFB.
