AM335x Android 4.2 MP4 video support

my system is android4.2, The system vdeo player can play the 3gp format video,and it can play the mp4 format video download from TI example,

but I have download some mp4 format video from internet, all the videos can not play.

can u tell me how to support the mp4 format video for my android 4.2.

Hello zhiqiang,

Android is yet supported by Adeneo Embedded, please turn to them about this concern. The mp4 videos which you have downloaded from Internet may have unsupported audio/video coding thus you cannot play them.

Compare the downloaded video dimension and codec with the mp4 download from TI example. Then ask Adeneo Embedded whether these codecs have support on android4.2

can I add the some files(format as xxx.so file) to support the mp4 format videos?

I found that the video resolution download from internet like this 320:240 352:240 800:480
but the ti demo video resolution is 640:360, it play success.

I change the ti demo video resolution to 800:480, it also can not play.
I do not kown why.
