Benchmark data for NDK throughput and CPU load for C6657

Hi Raja,

Since no link or document number was provided, I searched for “c66xx keystone performance user guide” and found the following:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/c6000_multi-core_dsps/f/639/t/491676 : this post refers to “Throughput Performance Guide for C66x KeyStone Devices”. It links to the documents below which are for raw hardware performance, not involving the NDK as far as I can tell:

http://www.ti.com/lit/an/sprabk5b/sprabk5b.pdf says it is for Keystone II and describes C66x and it describes hardware performance, not NDK. Doc is from 2015.

What I'm looking for is benchmark data for the NDK throughput. I am also looking for the CPU load which the NDK uses for different throughputs.

Some more searching revealed this document www.ti.com/.../spraaq5a.pdf
which is 8 years old and describes "a procedure to benchmark the Network Developer’s Kit (NDK)" and also gives results for some processors but not the C66xx family. At the design stage I would like to see benchmark data without having to run an experiment on an EVM.

OK. I understand your requirement.

I recommend you to post this on TI-RTOS for appropriate response and also you can mention that you are using C66xx(Keystone I) devices.
