TCP3d use for native 1/5 code

Hi,

Our air interface uses TC for native rate 1/5.our earlier board was based on 64+ platform which has TCP2 and we have upgrade the baseband board to SoC 663x. Now we want to use decoder for code rates like Rate 3/5 Turbo that are generated from 1/5 native. We need urgent help.

Please provide advice

Thanks for the reply, It would be great if we can get connected to TCP expert to resolve this issue. We need tor resolve this issue on urgent basis. We have developed the driver to use the TCP3d but stuck with this revelation.

Hi Rohit,

TCP2 did indeed have native rate 1/5 binary turbo code but TCP3 has the native code rate 1/3, used in LTE. Therefore in order to get the 3/5 code rate, you would need to either apply rate matching similar to the one in LTE or to define your own fail proof puncturing scheme (attached doc shows some guidelines for puncturing).

I need little more clarity on using TCP3d for CDMA2000. We would need to configure TCP3d for decoding CDMA2000 channels. Please advise
