dm8168 simple programs

Dear sir,

we purchased a kit dm8168,and we want to run the programs what we got with sd card.

do we have simple programs where we dont need to do any changes like mem=169m or stopping matrix and soon.simply we want to run the program.

do we have this type of simple programs.if so tell me the location and name of the programs and how to run.

Hello,

If you want to run syslink or codec engine demos you should set mem=169.
The reason is that syslink samples use a different memory map from the default EZSDK installation.

Hi Margarita,

I did the steps what you told,

TI8168_EVM# mmc rescan 0
TI8168_EVM# fatload mmc 0 0x81000000 uImage
TI8168_EVM# setenv bootargs 'console=ttyO2,115200n8 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 mem=169M rootwait'
TI8168_EVM# bootm 0x81000000

then i did,

target # /etc/init.d/pvr-init stop
target # /etc/init.d/matrix-gui-e stop
target # /etc/init.d/load-hd-firmware.sh stop

target # cd /usr/share/ti/ti-codec-engine-examples

target # modprobe syslink
target # modprobe cmemk phys_start=0x94000000 phys_end=0x947fffff \
pools=20x4096,10x131072,2x1048576

target # cd audio1_copy

target # ./app_remote.xv5T

after this what to do to check the output.do we need to linein input and check ouput in lineout..? or something else...
then what about video examples here,how to check there output.
