AM572x H.264 decode/encode performance

We have an application where we need to decode 2x 1080P30 H.264streams and then scale each to 480P30 and then re-encode them to H.264. Between the IVA and the DSP is there enough performance in the AM5728 to perform this in real time?

Hello,

I am not aware with IVA subsystem but you could check this thread(rogerio's answer):
e2e.ti.com/.../1902811

It seems that it support up to 1080p60 decode.
This should means that it could support 2x1080p30 decode, since it should be scalable in terms of resolutions, fps and channels.

I hope someone more familiar with IVA subsystem provides you better answer.
