Hello,
How do we prevent the fbcon (framebuffer console) from displaying its login prompt during system startup? I've tried various approaches from removing fbcon from the kernel entirely to using fbcon=map:1 on the linux startup command line. In each case when I disable or remove fbcon, then our Qt app does not display and the LCD is just white. It seems that something in fbcon is helping to complete the initialization of the framebuffer...?
Software/Platform notes:
- AM3352
- Processor SDK 02.00.01.07
- Custom Debian Jessie rootfs
- Main app is Qt 5.3 based
