I am new at this I am trying to understand how this processor works. From the information online, this processor have the capability to communicate with most industrial communication protocol. Is this a true statement? Or at least according to this video. I need understand how to implement this. Please feel free to contact me direct. Thanks.

You are correct, AM3359Bxxxx (latest revision) has an Industrial Communication Subsystem that is certified for several industrial protocols. A good place to start is the product folder, under the tab technical documentation and please check the white papers www.ti.com/.../technicaldocuments
Also under Tools and Software there are several reference designs that you can study: www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

Thank you for prompt reply. For me to get started on using this. Do I need to get the AM3359 ICE development board? Do I also need to access to the software platform Code Composer Studio?

ICE is a great board for industrial protocols development and you can use the Processor SDK RTOS.
