I follow this file which I download from TI. http://www.ti.com/cn/lit/pdf/tiduaf8 All the steps I have in accordance with the guidance document.When I built the project,EC-Master-V2.7-SYSBIOS-Eval,it have some warning message.But there are.Out file output,and when I load the program into the am3359 ice by CCS and start it,there is no output message in the console.I don't see Appendix C for an example of output console like it say.

Hi, please see below few questions/comments

- How are you testing the EtheCAT master? are you using AM437x as slave?

- Could be possible your console is not correctly connect? or setup? (tip: open/connet console after you load the .out in CCS)

- When running EcMasterDemo.out are ICE board Eth0 port LEDs blinking?

- We are in the process to improve this TI design document and also to add some pre-built binaries to this TI design. If still facing issues, could you give a try to attached prebuilt .out?

- Also maybe your board has some pre-flashed bootloader and application, if so, could you change boot jumpers (J5 shorten 1&2) and re-test?

Thank you,I can run it by your EcMasterDemo.out,but I still can't run the one using my EcMasterDemo.out.I build the project,Acontis EC-Master V2.7.2.12 for SYSBIOS,downloaded from internet.I think my CCS settings maybe have some problem.Can you tell me how do you set your CCS?Or,can you give me your project.Thank you very much.I try to build the project using your eni file,but it still can't run.

Hi could you please try latest EC-Master v2.9 from http://www.acontis.com/eng/products/downloads/ethercat-for-ti-processors.html? Also, please see attached updated TI design document for your reference. I think this document is much clearer, so hopefully it helps. TIDUAF8A_Published.pdf

If you still face issues with latest EC-Master stack from Acontis and latest document please let us know.

Thank you so much,I can see the output in the console.But I have some new problem now.I use AM437x-EVM-A2 by tronglong as slave,so do I need to create a new ENI file? If I use AM3359 ICE as slave,can it run?

Hi, for changing the slave bus configuration which will connect to the EtherCAT master please follow "Appendix B" for creating eni.xml file and then follow Section 6 Preparing the Application, step 3.b in order to convert eni.xml to a C file. Finally use this .c file to replace MasterENI.c file inside of the project and rebuild.

About ICE board as slave question, yes, you would need to create a MasterENI.c for this slave.
