Test SATA BIST loopback mode

Hi all,

We use SATA phy IC to validate the five test patterns. If we want to do loop back test, any suggestion about how to configure SATA BIST register?

Hi Ariel,

The DRA7x SATA BIST related registers are:
SATA_TESTR - set [0] TEST_IF = 1
SATA_BISTAFR
SATA_BISTCR - the only one that is RW, BIST control register
SATA_BISTFCTR
SATA_BISTSR
SATA_BISTDECR

The settings there (SATA_BISTCR) depends on the mode you want to use. See also the below e2e thread:
