Web based firmware upgrade in RTOS

Hello Everyone.

In our product we would like to implement a web based Firmware upgrade mode through the TI-RTOS NDK on a TM4C1294. We wish to upload a binary directly via the webserver as seen in other devices like most WiFi Routers.

Currently we are using a LMFlash based script wich is working perfectly but is to complicated for our concept.

Is it possible to do a firmware upgrade over web with the TI-RTOS?
Are there any example?

Hi Chris,

Yes, it is possible. No, I don't know of an example. This is this write-up that might help: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../TI-RTOS_USB_DFU. It uses USB, but the concepts are the same. For example, how do you set up memory maps, vector tables, CCS, etc.

Thanks for your fast reply. I will go through your example.
Anyway I just got my self clear about that we would need at least twice the amount of free space on the tm4c as if we would need with the LMFlash method.
