Vinoth,

  • You are seeing the message because your NK.bin has KITL+debugger enabled and the board is trying to connect to a Platform Builder. So you have 2 options - (1) start Visual Studio/PB and connect to the device or (2) disable KITL in the bootloader (using eboot menu).

  • Hello Madhvi

Now i can get dis in the tera term i disabled kitl in the boot menu and  also in the build options. disabled kernel debugger too.,

    Regards

    Vinoth,

  • Looks like your system has booted up - Any issues that you are seeing/concerned about?

    -Madhvi

  • Hi

I dont ve the lcd display 2 c the o/p. am jus looking my o/p using the remote display only, so can u tell the way to c the o/p from the sd card afer booting..

    Regards

    Vinoth.

  • can you tell me how you build the images or are these pre-built images? When you are in eboot stage, do you see anything on the LCD (like 4 color quadrants)? If you see some image during bootloader and not after kernel comes up, either you dont have the display driver selected in your image or there is a mismatch in display settings between bootloader and LCD - that is bootloader has LCD selected but kernel has DVI resolution. You need to make sure that your bootloader and NK.bin have the same resolution selected.

    -Madhvi

  • Hello Madhvi

I build the image already . I already said that i dont have lcd in my board.i just seeing my output through the remote display that means on the monitor am c ing the o/p.

1.Can u tell without the lcd if i boot through the sd card(Nk.bin) whether it will display the output on the screen or it wont display.

2.I selected the display driver in the catalog settings,

    Regards

    Vinoth.

  • Sorry I misunderstood your question.

If you have selected the display driver and there are no failures in loading the display driver then you should be able to see the desktop on remote display - but I have never tried that.

  • Hello Madhvi

Then what is the solution for my problem i cant c my remote display when booting only through sd card. but its working when booting thru nand and spi..

Madhvi Please help for this query.

Am using omapl138 i want to write the values to the gpio pins can you tell me the way to set the i/p & o/p values to the gpio. after setting the value i want to check that value of the gpio on the board.pls tell the way to do bec i dont know how to do with you people help only i can able to do.

    Regards

    Vinoth.

  • As mentioned several times before, we cannot help you with some of these questions because you are not using TI distributed BSP.

    Atul

  • Hello Atul

Am using the ti bsp which is freon . am not using our bsp. i just want to know all the things in detail thats why i am asking queries.Dont get anger..

If i know means then why am going to ask the help from you people.Am a beginner so asking doubts atul.

    Regards

    Vinoth.

  • Earlier you mentioned you are using LogicPD supplied BSP - is that not the case? Where did you download the TI BSP from?

    thanks

    Atul

  • Hello Atul,

Am using the Evm Kit which is supplied by you people and from the  kit am briefly understanding the concepts . for that i had a clarification. Am not using your BSP . But you only designed the h/w spec of the board am sure that you know the details that am asking for...

    Regards

    Vinoth.

  • The questions you are asking are all related to the BSP. Maybe I missed something - what EVM specific question do you have. Also for HW related questions, you can post to processor specific forum rather than WinCE forum
