I have a customer interested in using a C674x DSP in a project. they were looking at RAM and settled on the Cypress RAM using a HyperBus interface. Are any of the C674x DSPs able to interface with RAM that communicates over this bus?

Dear Chris,
In my understanding, we can't use this HyperBus RAM into our device as our chipset (c674x) doesn't have hyperbus interface.

It seems we can interface the Hyperbus RAM into our device if our device has Hyperbus interface (its separate IP from cypress).

Mainly this type of RAMs are used in microcontroller where we have less RAM.

Hyperbus chipset supported device.

We can interface the NOR/NAND to EMIFA interface (C6748 and OMAPL138)and SDRAM via EMIFB(C6747,C6745, and OMAPL137) interface.
OMAPL138 or C6748 does support DDR2 or mDDR for memory.
