AM3715 EVM bus signals access

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3715

1. I'm working on the OMAP35XX test design now and need to make a decasion of selecting in between LogicPD's EVM or AM3715.

I'd like to know if the AM3715 has the same bus signal availible as LogicPD's OMAP3630 SOM Zoom OMAP35x Development Kit Product Brief (815.48 KB)

I worked on the Zoom for a while and know there BUS signals availible at extention connector which my "daughter" board is going to be connected to.

The BUS signals I need are 32 X 25 bits data and address bus which is runing @ about 65 MHz to 100 MHz bus clock speed.

Are there similar BUS extention connectors availible on AM3715?

2. I receved the AM3715 related schematics and like to find out where the boms are located.

3. When the AM3712 DVM is availible?

Thanks,

JZ

  • The AM3715 EVM does have expansion connectors which brings out virtually every signal on the processor.  However, the connector is not the same as on the Logic PD board. The AM3715EVM is available today from Mistral Solutions.  You should be able to request a BOM from them.
