MTBF/FIT data for 66AK2H14

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: 66AK2H14

Hello,

Is there reliability data available for the 66AK2H14 SoC?

regards, Andrew

  • Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com). Please read all the links below my signature.

What is the end application? Can you please elaborate the question? Thank you.

Note: We strongly recommend you to create new e2e thread for your queries instead of following up on an old/closed e2e thread, new threads gets more attention than old threads and can provide link of old threads or information on the new post for clarity and faster response.

  • Hello Raja,

We have an RFQ from a customer to develop a cPCI board that will implement a military communications application. We are looking at using either the 66AK2H14BAAW24 or 66AK2H14BAAWA24. The board has an MTBF requirement, and we need failure rate data for the 66AK2H14 to determine if the MTBF can be met.

    regards, Andrew.
  • It is available on the product page in the Quality and Environmental Data section however I could not find any value in it.

I have pinged factory team for some help. Thank you for your patience.

  • Hi Andrew
We do not have the MTBF data published on the quality and environmental data section, unlike some of our other products at this time. We do have qual reports essentially saying no failures during accelerated aging testing. The qual reports can potentially be shared under NDA if needed. It would be best for you to contact your regional field team, if and how that needs to be facilitated.

For all practical purposes you can also look at our KS1 family devices c6678

    www.ti.com/.../quality

the data is expected to be equivalent based on our silicon design and qualification methodology.
