TMS320C6748 GPIO Pin Banks and Pins - Hardware Matching?

Hi all,

In TMS320C674x/OMAP-L1x Processor General-Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) User's Guide, there is table that explains

There is 8 banks and each bank has 16 Pins. But there is not a matching them with hardware. For example in the back side of DSP

Which pin is Bank 0 Pin 0 ?

Ozan,

Please check the section 3.7.25 General Purpose Input Output in the data manual to know the GPIO pins mapping.

Ozan,

You want to know the physical pin mapping of the GPIOs right ?

This GPIO terminal function table provides the physical pin mapping of all the GPIO banks.

Hi Ozylee,

In the schematics of the C6748 LCDK, search as GPIO4[13] and in TRM search as GP4[13], which will give you the PINMUX register number as well as the hex value to select the GPIO.

And then co-relate with the GPIO starterware code such as how the PINMUX configuration is done for GPIO, how the directions are set and toggling of data happens for the GPIO pins etc.
