Hi Margarita,
We use latests head of nand from linux arago omap3 git:

And also same for u-boot (from u-boot arago git of omap3).
the hardware is omap3530.
We can use sw ecc, but not bch4 or bch8.
This is a major issue.
I wish TI could assist more on this issue.
We thought that omap3 is a stable release already, yet we have a catastrophic issue with many products already delivered, and no solution yet, for using 4-bit ecc. This is a severe issue.
