could not find C6000 Compiler

Hi,

I want to compile IBL for c6678.

Can suggest me link to download the c6000 compiler to compile the ibl source?

Vidya,

The compiler will be installed during the installation of CCS. Please check the below path.

PATH: ~\ti\ccsv6\tools\compiler\c6000_7.4.14

Otherwise, check below wiki link to download the compiler.

Hi,

i need compiler to install in linux machine.

I am compiling the source in my linux desktop machine.

While compiling, it shows "make[5]: cl6x: Command not found".

Vidya,

My answer stands correct for Linux host too. If you have installed Linux in CCS, you would get CGT by default in /opt/ti/ccsvx/tools/compiler/

(or) download and install from below link manually.

Can you suggest which compiler version is stable one in 7.4.x series.

I have installed ccs in windows and it has compiler version 7.4.1.

Shall i download the same for linux from the link you referred or need to download higher version.

I downloaded C6000 Code Generation Tools v7.4.1 [Linux] version.

it downloaded in below format,

ti_cgt_c6000_7.4.1_setup_linux_x86.bin

How to install this in linux.

Please guide,

Vidya,

Please check with TI compiler forum for compiler stability and installation issues etc., Please change the permission and run it on the terminal if you do not have GUI.

For example,

$ chmod 777 cgt.bin

$ ./cgt.bin
