TCI6630K2L - Device access restrictions in ARM User mode

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCI6630K2L

Hello,

My collegues have developed a number of bare metal drivers for the various devices on the TCI6630K2L SoC. These drivers all function correctly when the ARM core is in Supervisor mode.

I have been trying to test these drivers in User mode, and have come across some issues - for example when trying to access the PSC (and I am also seeing some strange behaviour with the PKTDMA/QMSS).

I have looked through the documentation and cannot find any information that would imply any mode restrictions when accessing different areas of the memory map.

Is there a list of devices which require Supervisor level access to function correctly?
