Hi,

The device tree used by U-Boot can be overridden by adding or updating fdtfile=dra7-..dtb in uenv.txt on the SD card. Please refer to the link below for more information.

Of the two 10" LCD's referenced in the page, the 10" LG LCD has a resolution of 1280x800. The 10" LCD has a resolution of 1920x1080.

For the 10" 1280x800 LCD on J6, please add fdtfile=dra7-evm-lcd-lg.dtb to uenv.txt
For the 10" 1920x1080 LCD on J6, please add fdtfile=dra7-evm-lcd-osd.dtb to uenv.txt

Hi Venkat Mandela,

I have similar problem.

My LCD is 10" LG LCD. After I add fdtfile=dra7-evm-lcd-lg.dtb to uenv.txt, I can see Matrix App Launcher on LCD. But touch still not work. Why?

 I've tried both Linux Automotive 3.00.00.03 and 3.01.00.03 prebuilt images.

Hi Ariel,

Touch response was tested on 3.0 and 3.1 Linux Automotive releases. There was an issue with slow touch response but it was functional. Do you have a screen that does not respond at all to touch or is it only slow? We are looking into the slow touch response issue.

Hi Venkat,

I think it does not respond..... After launcher ready, I touch an icon and wait about 10 minutes. But nothing happened. And I connect a mouse on EVM and click icon. Submenu show up.
Is there a way to make sure touch not respond or only too slow ?

Hi,

You can use "evtest /dev/input/event0" with the appropriate device name to check if any events are being reported by the kernel or not.

I just found that I can get some response from my touch panel. But only the left edge of the touch panel can work.
Did you ever meet this situation?
