show image in frame buffer (/dev/fbX)

Guru 20755 points

Hello,

I once saw that it is possible to display image in frame buffer (/dev/fb0)

But trying to do that now I encounter some difficulties.

How can we know the physical or virtual address of frame buffer (I am using psplash utility to render image) ?

Is there a wiki which shows the steps ?

Regards,

Ran
