Customer purchased brand new TMDXEVM3358 and it does not boot out of the box. It seems to hang during EEPROM read. I've asked the customer to burn a new SD card using instructions on the wiki. Could this be an production EEPROM programming issue? Please advise.

Hi Mark,

As I can see, the board first tries to boot from uart (the CCC symbols at the beginning of the log). How did your customer configure the sysboots?

See processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM335x_General_Purpose_EVM_HW_User_Guide & AM3358 TRM to determine the correct sysboot settings for SDCard boot.

Thanks for the reply. I've asked the customer to verify SYS BOOT switch settings and try another SD card. Will advise.

The problem was a bad SD card from the factory. We resolved the issue by burning a new SD card. I will let them know.
