Interfacing the AM437x MII to LVDS

Just wondering if anyone has interfaced the AM4377 to a backplane using LVDS, to interface EtherCAT. LVDS is the preferred method for transmitting these EtherCAT signals over a backplane and Ethernet PHY for cables off the backplane.

Not sure how to interface the LVDS to the MIII ports on the processor.

I am not aware of anyone at TI who tried that. Actually the design of ICSS-PRU for AM335x devices (and similar for AM437x) was concentrating on 2-port phy based EtherCAT communication. The backplane option that some Beckhoff IP provide was not a design target.
