Hi there:

I used codeblocks to compile the training courses (GLES1) in the am35xx sdk, I could compile 01_Initialization and it ran ok.

But after I changed the linker setting (path: am35SDK/GFX_Linux_SDK/OGLES2/SDKPackage/Builds/OGLES2/LinuxOMAP3/lib ) and search dircetories to compile and run the 01_Initialization under OGLES2 directory, it shows nothing on the display, the executable just simply ran and exited, without any error message.

Hoping for help.

Are you using embedded Linux or WinCE?

The 01_Initialization programs in the training course do not actually draw anything, they only clear the screen several times alternating between yellow and blue using the glClear() function. The important point is that the early steps of allocating a draw surface from the EGL do not fail. Please check that each of the 10 steps completes without errors, then try the next example, 02_HelloTriangle.

I know what 01_Initialization looks like, 02_HelloTriangle also can be executed normally with ogle 1.1,
my problem is that every training course program displays nothing when linking with ogle 2.0.

OS: Embedded Linux
HW: am3517 evm

We ran the Initialization and HelloTriangle examples here from the OpenGL ES 2.0 TrainingCourse and confirmed that they do run correctly. The output is the same as from the 1.1 TrainingCourse. Can you please download and run this test script and return the information that it displays about your environment? This will help us to isolate the problem.

Erwin,

We normally build the OpenGL ES examples with the CodeSourcery Lite toolchain. If you are using the Code::Blocks compiler, that may be the cause of the problem.
