Hi,

I have two questions:

1. It is possible to Develop C programms on linux for sitara processors without operating system?

2. Can I start that compiled programm trough using barebox?

Hello Rene,

1. Yes, it is possible on AM335x and AM18x devices, the software is called Starter Ware.
You can download the Starter Ware software from here and this is the forum where the Starter Ware related questions are discussed.

2. I am not sure if barebox has this ability, but you can run a standalone application in U-Boot.

Would you please mention the name of the TI processor you use??

1. As Kemal said, the non-OS based bare metal sample codes ( Starterware ) are available for Sitara processors.

2. What kind of programs you would want to run ? What are the peripherals used??
