Where can I find headerfiles and examples for C6000 ?


For C2000 there is "Controlsuite", where for example   "   InitSysCtrl();   "  etc. can be used to initialize system control.

Controlsuite also has a lot of examples such as adc, external interrupt.

Where can I find examples (and libraries) for C67xx devices?

    Hop Am,

    First, pick a device or more narrowed device family. C6000 is a very wide group, and even C67xx is a very wide group. The Device Selection Tool may help you determine with device you might want to use in your project.

    Then go to the Product Folder for the device you chose, or one of the devices in that narrow family (C6748, for example) and click on the Tools & software tab. There you will find the available libraries.

    There is training material to help you figure out how to make the best use of various DSP family devices. Search TI.com for the device number and training or workshop to find archived or current workshops and material.

    Dear RandyP,


    thank you for your answer. I have the C6713B, but exactly which library can I use so that I can use functions like

    InitSysCtrl();    InitGpio();   DINT;  and InitPieCtrl();  for example.


    At the Tools&Software I can't find much. I want something similar to the Controlsuite which has a lot of examples ...

    I hope you can help me out. Thank you.

    What is your application? Why have you chosen the C6713B rather than a newer processor like the C6748?

    Please go to TI.com and search for "c6713 workshop" (no quotes) and scroll down to the DSP Integration Workshop. From that link you can find the training material archived to help you learn to use the tools that are available for the C6713B. There are labs that act as great examples, and workshop material that will guide you through understanding how to program and use the C6713B.

    There are also books written for DSP Programming that use the C6713B.

    The C6713B programming model starts from a Chip Support Library (CSL) that is oddly not included in the list of software for it. Please search also for "c6713 csl" (no quotes) to find a link to the description of CSL and links to the various versions available. The CSL libraries include examples for accessing the various peripherals that the CSL helps to support.
