DDR Termination on AM335x

Hi, Everyone

I have a question about AM335x with DDR.

Can you tell me case DDR Termination need ?
I understand AM335x does not need DDR Termination.
Because It is discribed in Figure 7-48.
AM335x EVM and SK have DDR Termination and BBB does not have DDR Termination

Why These EVM have DDR Termination ?

When 2 DDR3 8-bit devices are used, then termination is required. When a single 16-bit DDR3 device is used, then point-to-point connections may be used, but this design will need to be confirmed by SI analysis, before committing to PCB.
