[66AK2H14]10G Ethernet fail

Dear Champs,

My customer failed to make 10G Ethernet work, and want to know detailed procedure how they can work 10G ethernet.

Could you please check below their dts file and log, and please provide your advice how they can make 10G Ethernet working?

When they checked the clock and IO of 10G MDIO using Oscilloscope, they could not find any wave and it was just 'high' state when they tried to change USERACCESSn Register of 10G MDIO as below.

* using /dev/mem, they tried to change USERACCESSn Register of 10G MDIO

* using devmem2, they tried to change USERACCESSn Register of 10G MDIO in the linux console.

Yes. I already recommended to see it, but they requested to check their dts file in the meantime.

Dear Champs,

Could you please let me know if our 10G MDIO can support XMDIO Caluse 45?
Could you please check and provide guide how they can set it to use XMDIO in their SW?

Their 10G Ethernet PHY was Marvell's 88x3310, and Marvell said XMDIO(Clause 45) should be supported, not MDIO(Clause 22).

Sung-Il,

Our current testing hardware (RTM BoC) is using retimer for 10GbE, not PHY, so we can't test mdiox. It used to work in the previous reversion of RTM BoC, so in k2e-net.dtsi, the mdiox configuration is still kept for reference, but not used in current software release, nor has it been tested since the new rev of BoC.
